Christian Melguizo

“My name is Christian, and I’m 19. This is my Loop Dreams story. My parents are originally from Colombia, but I was raised in East Boston. Most of my friends are from the Port Neighborhood. Living in the city can be hard. I’ve seen a lot of crazy things happen. But music has always been there for me. Music is my passion. It’s my air. I even learned on my own how to use fruity loops (software) to make beats, but I have never had the mentorship to take my creativity to the next level, like making it into a career. I believe that is what Loop Dreams is preparing me for now. The things that Matt and Chris are teaching me are building up my confidence in myself. At this point, I can’t wait to get to my internship! I’m excited for my future and excited to continue learning with The Loop Lab”
