Executive Summary
The Loop Lab is seeking a skilled Project Manager or Project Management Team to coordinate and drive execution of From Chains to Change, a MA250-funded multimedia digital tour honoring overlooked Black revolutionaries along Boston’s Black Heritage Trail.
The project includes content development, multimedia production, QR-based engagement, and digital delivery through Bloomberg Connects.

Project Overview
From Chains to Change is a 10-stop multimedia public history experience launching in 2026. It pairs documentary-style videos, short audio pieces, interpreted signage, and digital storytelling powered by Bloomberg Connects to illuminate the role of Black revolutionaries such as Crispus Attucks, Peter Salem, Elizabeth Freeman, and Prince Hall.
The project spans February–October 2026, with intensive coordination needed between creative, historical, technical, and tourism partners.
Scope of Work
Core Project Management
Create and manage a detailed production and delivery timeline
Facilitate weekly check-ins and maintain milestone tracking
Coordinate communication among Loop Lab leadership, creative teams, historical consultants, Bloomberg Connects, and external vendors
Maintain organized project documentation in Google Workspace and Asana
Production & Content Coordination
Schedule shoots, interviews, stakeholder meetings, and internal work sessions
Track content drafts, revisions, and final delivery of audio, video, signage, graphics, and metadata
Monitor version control and ensure timely review cycles
Assist with on-site visits, QR code placement logistics, and platform testing
Reporting & Documentation
Weekly status updates (brief summaries)
Monthly detailed progress reports
Support for grant reporting and deliverable documentation
Launch & Rollout Preparation
Help coordinate pre-launch testing on Bloomberg Connects
Support communications and marketing handoff
Assist with summer-fall 2026 event planning and rollout logistics
Deliverables
Full project management plan for February–October 2026
Weekly check-in summaries
Monthly comprehensive reports
Updated milestone trackers and workflow documentation
Coordinated schedules, production calendars, and delivery timelines
On-time completion of all project deliverables leading into fall 2026 rollout
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Ability to begin work no later than Feb 10–12, 2026
Proven experience in media, creative production, or cultural project management
Demonstrated skill coordinating multi-stakeholder creative teams
Excellent communication, organization, and timeline management
Experience working on projects rooted in racial equity, cultural storytelling, or public history
Availability of 10–15 hours per week (varies by phase)
Ability to attend occasional on-site sessions in Boston (local preferred; hybrid possible)
Comfort using Google Workspace, Asana (or equivalent PM tools)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience with digital museum platforms (e.g., Bloomberg Connects)
Background in historic sites, Black Heritage Trail, or cultural tourism
Familiarity with multimedia production workflows
Prior work on grant-funded cultural or civic projects
Knowledge of Boston’s cultural, historical, or tourism ecosystem
Compensation & Terms
Total Contract Amount: $25,000
Payment Schedule: Monthly payments issued within 30 days of invoice (or milestone-based if preferred)
Independent contractor role; no benefits
Confidentiality required for all materials, schedules, and project content
